Hello, I'm Fabiou.

A software engineer, wildlife photographer, and occasional trail runner based in China. This site is a digital garden: photos from the field, technical writing from my work in software, and notes from life between a laptop and a pair of shoes.

When I'm not at my desk, I'm probably hiking somewhere in Guangdong, diving in Southeast Asia, or trying to identify a bird I've never seen before. The code and the wild are more connected than they look: both reward patience, attention, and a willingness to sit with a problem until it shows you something.
